If you are interested in applying for NJHS for next year and think you have an overall 3.5 GPA for your middle school years, ask your homeroom teacher to fill out a grade sheet for you.  You must tell your homeroom teacher no later than this Thursday, January 26.  If your GPA is 3.5 or higher this grade sheet will be your entrance ticket to a mandatory information meeting in the library during Focus 30 on Thursday, February 2.  Anyone with any questions should see Mrs. Witte in the Library.

The next meeting of the FMS NJHS will be Thursday, February 2 at 8:00 in the library.

This Fall, the FMS NJHS worked hard to give back to the community.  The members put together gift baskets for the Helen Ross McNabb Center in December.  They also held a Spirit Week in Novemeber, with the proceeds going towards holiday charity.  The NJHS was able to send a check for $400 to East Tennessee Children's Hospital.

Thanks to all members who came in Friday to help teachers in their classrooms.  They appreciate your help!

A big thank you goes to our members who came to help fix up the Zachary Weimer Memorial bench on their day off last Friday.  You guys did a fantastic job and the bench looks great!
